Eyes are on when fall shows will return. CBS has announced its premiere dates, with a lot of shows returning later than normal. That includes FBI: International, which will premiere its fourth season in October.
Most of the time, premieres happen in September. We can’t count the pandemic year or the 2023–2024 TV season. Both of these fall seasons were affected by factors outside of their control. In a normal year, we usually get shows back at the end of September to run through until just after Thanksgiving, before then returning once more in January.
CBS has shifted everything back, despite NBC and ABC confirming September premiere dates. This could be linked to many shows potentially getting just 18 to 20 episodes to help with cost reduction in production. This would mean more breaks later on in the schedule, but a later start prevents that need.
FBI: International Season 4 premieres in October
We’ll have to wait until Tuesday, Oct. 15. The episode will air in between the FBI Season 7 and FBI: Most Wanted Season 6 premieres, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The series will see a change. Luke Kleintank left the series two episodes before the Season 3 finale. While Colin Donnell came in for the final two episodes, it doesn’t look like he’ll return in Season 4. Instead, Chicago PD vet Jesse Lee Soffer will come into the series, potentially as the new leader of the Fly Team.
Vo and Raines remain as the only OG characters in the series. Well, we can also count Tank, who appeared at the end of Season 3. While Tank is Forrester’s dog, it’s clear that Forrester couldn’t take him with him as he went on the run with his mom. Instead, the Fly Team will take good care of the loyalist member of the team.
