Two of the Law & Order shows are back tonight, and we kick off with the Law & Order Season 24 premiere. This episode will see a bit of change as there’s a new lieutenant stepping in.
Lt. Kate Dixon is out. It’s not clear how that’s going to happen yet, but we will get to meet the new lieutenant in charge during the new episode. How will everyone adjust to a new face? We often see someone struggling, and it looks like Riley is the one who will struggle during this episode.
Meanwhile, we have the question of who won the DA race. Then there’s the focus on Mauron’s more personal storyline.
What to expect in the Law & Order Season 24 premiere
The new episode will pick up off the back of the race for DA. Will Baxter win? It certainly seems like it considering Tony Goldwyn is front and center in the key art for the season. That’s not a guarantee that he’s the DA, though.
The episode itself is going to focus on a case that is on the personal side for Mauron. A local prosecutor is found dead in her apartment, and Mauron needs to get to the bottom of this. It’s likely that this prosecutor was a friend, and Mauron wants to get justice for this. She is sure to put her career on the line to find a way to gain justice.
Of course, we will get to meet the new lieutenant. That means some changes for those on the order side of Law & Order. Riley will struggle to deal with the new lieutenant. The question is where’s Dixon? Will we find out?
