A strange reverse attack complicates Law & Order: SVU Season 25, Episode 3
Law & Order: SVU has a unique episode where the roles of victim and perp are flipped. Check out a preview for Season 25, Episode 3.
The last Law & Order: SVU had Benson still obsessed with finding the teenager kidnapped in the Season 25 premiere. That was affecting Benson, including accusing an innocent man of being the kidnapper and talking to the FBI on the case.
The team was distracted by a wave of flash mob robbers hitting a high-end clothing store. One woman had been assaulted in the back with the team racing to find the perp. It was tricky, especially when the same gang made a full-on attack on the SVU precinct.
Eventually, they arrested the attacker, but there was an issue as the victim was reluctant to press charges. She had been an advocate for helping young men driven into crime by circumstances and feared this would make her a hypocrite as well as make life worse for the kid.
Eventually, Benson talked her into testifying so the man was found guilty. The fact he took responsibility for his action aided her.
So that was a powerful episode that sets up this week's new one.

"The Punch List" looks like an old story of a victim drugged and abused and the team hunting who's responsible. Here's the twist: The victim is a man and his confessed attacker is a woman.
"The SVU helps a man come to terms with being victimised; Benson tries to support a victim's family when tragedy strikes twice."
This looks like an interesting spin on the usual SVU formula with the question of what drove the woman to this act. The second line indicates Benson has to help the kidnapped girl's family through another trauma that could add more drama to the case.
It's continuing a strong run of episodes for Law & Order: SVU Season 25 as it goes on.
Law & Order: SVU Season 25 airs Thursdays at 9/8c on NBC and streams on Peacock the following day.
