Sam Hana is in Hawaii because of his ELITE team. It’s time to meet the team in the NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 finale.

Sam initially came to Hawaii to decide whether Jane was ready to return to duty or not. It was a great way to keep that bond that had formed in the three-way crossover event going after NCIS: Los Angeles’s cancellation.

He ended up sticking around. Hawaii has become a good base for his own secret mission, which happens to be the ELITE team. NCIS: ELITE does sound like a promising spin-off series, and now there may be a chance of that with the Hawaii Season 3 finale.

ELITE will be included in the NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 finale

TVLine shared a few details about what to expect in the NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 finale after a fan question about whether ELITE will be included. We’ll get to see the team as they end up involved in a case that Jane and her team are working on.

On top of that, this is going to be a two-part finale. It will air over two nights, though, with the first of the two episodes airing on Monday, April 29. The finale will then air the following Monday, May 6.

Could ELITE be on the hunt for Hetty?

There was one storyline never fully brought to a close in the NCIS: Los Angeles series finale. It was all about Hetty, who had been potentially killed a season earlier. Of course, this was Hetty, and we knew she would have gotten out of dodge. She had, and she was able to leave a clue for Callen and co. in the NCIS three-way crossover event to confirm she was still alive.

That led to the ELITE team being put together. They’re supposed to be heading out to find Hetty, with Nell telling Callen that she was leading the mission.

Is it possible that this is what Sam has been working on this whole time? Will NCIS fans finally get some closure and learn that Hetty is a-ok in the NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 finale? It would be great for Jane and her team to help with that, especially since Hetty was likely the agent with the wisdom Sam mentioned in the 1001st episode of the franchise.

It would also be great in case the Season 3 finale turns out to be the series finale. This is a series still not renewed by CBS, and we’re starting to get worried.
