A new episode of FBI: International isn't on tonight (here's when it's back)

We finally found out what happened to Scott Forrester in FBI: International, and now we’re ready to see the team running without him permanently in charge. That isn’t going to happen tonight, Tuesday, May 28.

Forrester is gone. Luke Kleintank made the decision to leave the series, and the show gave the character the perfect send-off. While he was off-screen, we found out that he had found his mom and the two were driving off to Alaska together. Now it’s time for the Fly Team to handle cases without him.

The bad news is we’re not going to get to see that happen for a while. FBI: International Season 4 is officially happening, but the series is now on a break. How long will we need to wait for the return of the series?

FBI: International Season 4 will return in fall 2024

There is some good news. CBS announced the fall schedule for 2024, and we don’t have to wait for FBI: International. The series returns on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The Tuesday night lineup is so strong for CBS that there’s no need for the network to change it.

We don’t yet have a premiere date, which isn’t all that surprising. The premiere dates are usually set toward the end of June at the earliest. We are expecting toward the end of September for a premiere, though.

CBS is looking to cut costs on some shows, including some of the FBI shows. Not all characters will be in all episodes, but that doesn't look to be the case for International.

Of course, the team is currently down a leader. Will Forrester be replaced by someone new, or is it time for Vo to step up? She performed extremely well in charge of the Fly Team, although Lange did take over—he did make it clear that he wanted to be in charge. Could we see more of him moving forward as the agent in charge, or will the team constantly be a team member down?
