Don't forget SWAT has a double episode on tonight, March 8
We’re not just getting one episode of SWAT tonight. Friday, March 8 will bring us two hours of our favorite cop drama. This is despite the rest of CBS Friday dramas taking a week off.
It does mean that we’ll likely see a break coming soon. We know there are only 13 episodes to this final season, and CBS is sure to want to end the season in May when the end of the regular season is. This means some breaks here and there to spread out the new episodes. It’s curious, then, that the network is opting for a double-bill tonight.
How to watch SWAT on CBS
You can tune into the new episode at 8 p.m. ET/PT tonight, Friday, March 8. That is the regular time for the series on CBS. Just stay tuned for the 9 p.m. ET/PT episode. Then the night ends with a rerun of Blue Bloods.
If you don’t have cable, you’ll want to get something like FuboTV and Sling TV to be able to watch live. Paramount+ is also a great way to watch live, and you can watch on-demand the following day.

What to expect in SWAT on March 8
The first hour of the night will see the team track down a Chilean arms dealer who ends up kidnapping a woman and her daughter. That leads to some unintended consequences, and it will be interesting to see what’s going on there.
Meanwhile, it looks like Tan has kept his marital problems a secret from his family. His brother comes to down, and Tan has to come clean about his divorce from Bonnie. It wouldn’t be surprising if he chose to keep that quiet as it could mean shame, but Tan shouldn’t be ashamed when it was Bonnie who had the affair.
Street is back in the second hour of the night. He learns that a biker club has stolen a whole cache of bullets that are designed to pierce armor. He will need to turn to the team for help to get to the bottom of it and get those bullets back.
SWAT airs on Fridays at 8/7c on CBS.
