Why does Milius want Big Alice in Snowpiercer?

There has been no doubt that Milius isn’t working on the same mission as Nima in Snowpiercer Season 4. Milius doesn’t care about warming up the planet. His focus has been on a separate mission.

Layton and Josie realized before Big Alice docked with Snowpiercer that this was all a trap. Milius has consistently been one step ahead of everyone. He wants Big Alice. While it looked like Layton and Josie had a plan to get Liana and keep Big Alice safe from enemy hands, that didn’t happen.

The question is why Milius wants Big Alice. What does that train have that Snowpiercer doesn’t?

Is Milius working with Wilford in Snowpiercer Season 4?

We know that Wilford isn’t gone for good. First of all, he didn’t die at the end of Season 3. Deaths have to happen on screen. Second of all, we’ve seen Wilford in the trailer for Snowpiercer Season 4. He’s coming back.

It would make sense for him to work with someone like Milius. It would also make sense for Wilford to want Big Alice back. Snowpiercer and Big Alice are his trains, and we know that Wilford will want revenge. Wilford didn’t want people splitting up. He needs everyone to worship him, and allowing people to live in New Eden would mean that nobody would view him as a sole savior of the human race.

He was left for dead at the end of Season 3. It’s likely that Milius and his Animal Squad came across Wilford in his service cart at some point. This was likely while they were hurriedly building the track to get Snowpiercer into their base.

I do think Nima’s mission is what he says it is. He wants to create bubbles of warm air that will create a planet that everyone can survive on again. Milius was likely initially under orders to help get this mission started, and then he likely came across Wilford. There’s a chance Wilford promised Milius the world for help getting Snowpiercer and Big Alice back. That’s the mission Milius has likely been on.

It’s the only thing that makes sense for Milius to want Big Alice. There is no other reason to want that train, and the majority of people probably wouldn’t even know about it! Even Ben was surprised that it was there, and Melanie was surprised it was up and running. The only way for Milius to find out about it would be from someone who knew, and that’s Wilford.
