NBC opted to make use of the post-Division Playoff spot for good. It put on The Hunting Party series premiere on, bringing us the episode much earlier than expected.
If you happened to miss it because you hadn’t realized or because the Playoff game CBS aired afterward was more important, then there is some good news. You can watch the episode on Peacock right now. You don’t need to go to Peacock, though.
NBC will air a rerun of The Hunting Party series premiere
The first episode of the series will get an encore. This is normal for networks, especially when the series premiere airs on a night that isn’t normal for the rest of the series. In this case, The Hunting Party aired its premiere on a Sunday night, when the series will actually air on Monday nights.
There will be a rerun of the series premiere on Monday, Feb. 3 at 10/9c. This was when the series premiere was initially going to air, so if you had that date in you diary, don’t worry about it!
The Hunting Party will continue to air on Mondays
After this, the series will air on Monday nights. It’s unlikely that NBC will change up the schedule again for this series, unless Mondays are absolutely terrible for it. We have seen shows struggle on a Monday, but with some hope, the Sunday premiere has helped to get viewers tuned in.
The Hunting Party episode 2 will air on Monday, Feb. 10 at 10/9c.
What is The Hunting Party about?
Don’t worry; we’re not delving into spoilers for the series in this post. We’re just look at the premise of the series.
The Hunting Party follows a group of former and current government operatives. They are tasked with tracking down some of the most dangerous criminals in America. Some of these criminals were presumed dead, executed as they were supposed to be on Death Row. It turns out that they were all incarcerated into a secret prison. That prison faced an explosion, and the prisoners escaped.
The team will need to get the criminals back behind bars before they kill anyone else. Of course, they are more dangerous than they were before they got locked up.
On top of that, this wasn’t some freak accident. Someone wanted to get the prisoners out, and now the question is whether it was someone connected to a prisoner or to the government.
The Hunting Party will air Mondays starting Feb. 3 at 10/9c on NBC.
