It’s Halloween weekend, and you know what that means in the world of TV. It’s time for a Halloween-themed episode, and Tracker season 3 episode 3 is certainly going to deliver.

Colter Shaw is back to working alone, after two episodes of Russell joining him on a case. During Tracker season 3 episode 2, Russell had become the target, but we knew there was no way that the series would write out Jensen Ackles’s character. It turns out that ketchup is a great substitute for blood to make a photo look realistic enough for Russell to play dead.

Now, Colter has a case that looks a little different to his usual ones. And it’s about to get a little scary.

Into the Wild
“Into the Wild” – Colter journeys into the wilderness of Idaho to help track down the owner of an aerial outfitting company’s missing adult children, and friends of Reenie’s father, who were last seen in a plane that took off during bad weather with a mysterious client on board, on the CBS Original series TRACKER, Sunday, April 28 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for

Colter investigates the murder of a nurse in Tracker season 3 episode 3

Colter tends to look for missing people (or sometimes animals) for a reward. Well, this one does involve a missing person, but it’s not the traditional victims. Instead, he’s going to end up tracking down a potential serial killer.

It all starts with a murdered nurse in a psychiatric facility. From that same facility, an arsonist has escaped, and now lives could be on the line in the local area. Wouldn’t this be a job for the police? Well, one thing this series has shown is that the cops aren’t all that great at their jobs. That’s why there are rewards out and people like Colter chasing them.

In this episode, he’s going to have to track down the arsonist before he hurts someone else. This could be a little harder than other cases, as this arsonist can remain on the run unlike a kidnapping victim.

Trust Fall
“Trust Fall” – While searching for missing campers, Colter meets a retired police officer who believes a serial killer is on the loose, on the CBS Original series TRACKER, Sunday, Nov. 17 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/ 8:30-9:30 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+(live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*. Just how guilty is the arsonist?

Tracker doesn’t tend to follow a formula when it comes to the type of people Colter is looking for, though. During this episode, he’s going to uncover some sort of truth, and is it possible that the arsonist isn’t actually an arsonist?

The fact that this arsonist was in a psychiatric facility suggests that there is more to the story. Why wasn’t he just locked up behind traditional bars? Is it possible that someone framed him, and the best way to cover it all up is to make him seem crazy?

Was the nurse in on it all, or was she just an unlucky victim? After all, I swear psychiatric facilities end up making people crazier than they were when they first came in. I do have to question if there’s a need for them!
