How to watch the Elsbeth season 2 premiere live online
Elsbeth was certainly a hit for CBS, and we’re ready for more of the series. The good news is Elsbeth season 2 premieres tonight, Thursday, Oct. 17.
This series works because of a different take on the “whodunit” form of storytelling. We don’t need to figure out who did it. We know who did it, and the mystery is how the murder happened. And, of course, we need to see the cops figure it all out at the same time.
The second season is set to bring more of this, while also bringing us a Good Wife crossover that we’ve been waiting for. However, that’s not stopping some actors from the previous shows coming in as characters who were not in The Good Wife or The Good Fight.

What to expect in the Elsbeth season 2 premiere
The first episode involves a womanizing finance executive, who is found stabbed to death after a night at the opera. Of course, that means Elsbeth needs to get to the bottom of this curious case. She suspects that an opera lover was driven to murder due to a ringing cell phone, and she decides that she will try to annoy the same person.
We get a look at Elsbeth’s time at the opera in the trailer for the second season. Nathan Lane is the man she suspects, and she is going to drive him up the wall to get him to strike again.
Here’s a look at the promo and synopsis for Elsbeth season 1, episode 1:
