At long last, Will Trent is back. ABC opted to hold the series back to the midseason to allow for consistency on the other side, and as much as we know that’s for the best, it’s been a long wait!
Will Trent season 4 will pick up off the back of the events from the season 3 finale. Well, sort of. Five months have passed, and that should mean we get some answers about the fates of those on the line at the end of season 3. We’re worried, though!
What time is Will Trent season 4 episode 1 on ABC?
Will Trent returns to form tonight, Tuesday, Jan. 6. It will air at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, kicking off a night of crime dramedy. We’ve got High Potential and then The Rookie after that, so ABC is the place to be right now on Tuesdays!
It’s easy to watch ABC with or without standard cable. Of course, you can watch with your usual cable provider, but you can also turn your attention to Sling TV, Fubo TV, YouTube TV, and more. All of these places carry ABC as a channel, so you can tune in live if you’ve cut the cord.
What about if you can’t watch live? Of course, it’s the best way to watch, but some people work or there are extracurricular activities for the kids. In this case, you will need to watch the day after. The Will Trent season 4 premiere will be available to stream from 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT on Wednesday, Jan. 7 on Hulu.
What to expect on the Will Trent season 4 premiere
The first episode of the season picks up five months after the season 3 finale. The GBI is rebuilding after the attack, but Will can’t exactly focus on that effort to rebuilt. When someone from Will’s past escapes prison, he defies all orders to track the person down. It threatens his entire career, but he will do whatever it takes to keep people safe.
Of course, we have plenty of questions after the way the third season ended. Will Amanda and Ormewood survive? Hopefully, it won’t take too long to find out the answer to both — and hopefully, the answer is yes to both questions. They’ve not been spotted in the trailer for the season, leaving us with many questions.
Then there’s Angie, who found out that she’s pregnant. She was in two minds about keeping the baby when she initially learned the truth, but could she decide it’s time to be the mom her own mom couldn’t be for her?
Will Trent airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on ABC.
