Criminal Minds is getting its last outing. The Season 15 premiere airs in January with a two-hour episode. Here are all the details.

We’re saying goodbye to so many TV shows in 2020, and Criminal Minds is one of them. While we were certainly disappointed the FBI drama wasn’t part of the fall 2019 lineup, it made sense holding off the big goodbye to the New Year. Now we have a set premiere date, with a special two-hour episode for the beginning of the end.

CBS released its midseason premiere dates, and that brought plenty of shakeups to the current lineup. FBI‘s spin-off, FBI: Most Wanted, quickly took over NCIS: New Orleans‘ timeslot, and now we find out Criminal Minds is taking over SEAL Team‘s slot for the time being.

This is just for the week to say hello to the final season. SWAT Season 3 will return after its winter hiatus on Jan. 15 in the 10 p.m. timeslot.

There are just 10 episodes of Criminal Minds Season 15, which will see all of the Season 14 cast return. There will be a one-off week where Criminal Minds moves to the later timeslot for the Survivor Season 40 two-hour premiere, and then the following week (Feb. 19), the show will air its two-hour series finale, according to Variety.

It’s a monumental season for the show. Let’s see it go out with the biggest bang possible.
