NBC begins its new TV crime drama tonight. Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector premieres, and you won’t want to miss out on this live.
The series is based on the books, which were adapted into a movie starring Denzel Washington, titled The Bone Collector. Now the series will tell the same tale, and it sounds like the first season, at least, will focus on the “Bone Collector” storyline. Could we even see the mystery of who the Bone Collector is continue further into the series should it perform well?

Lincoln Rhyme will be played by Russel Hornsby, while Amelia Sachs will be played by Arielle Kebbel. For the most part, the storyline around Rhyme is the same as the books. Originally, a great detective, he was forced out of the job when he was permanently paralyzed by the Bone Collector.
However, he still has an excellent skill for solving cases. He views himself as a modern-day Sherlock Holmes, which makes sense since the Bone Collector is like Moriarty.
That would make Amelia, a gifted NYPD office, a modern-day Watson. She finds herself partnered with Rhyme on the trailer for the Bone Collector, who has been underground since the incident with Rhyme but is now back.
The series premiere will introduce the characters, making it possible for fans of the books and those who haven’t read the books (or watched the movie) get to know the characters and the story. Now you just need to make sure you’re ready to tune in live.
