Will Lincoln Rhyme kill off Sellitto in the first season finale?
Lincoln Rhyme airs its two-hour season finale on Mar. 13. Is Friday the 13th going to be unlucky for members of the team? Will Sellitto not make it?
We know TV crime dramas tend to be unkind to at least one series regular in the finale. A finale airing on Friday the 13th should not be a good sign! Lincoln Rhyme‘s two-hour season finale looks like it will kill off Sellitto.
Michael Imperioli has been an excellent addition to the show. He’s brought us a forward-thinking and supportive detective, not too set in his ways but always looking to do things the safest way possible. That’s not always the best option and he’s had to learn to trust Amelia Sachs, but he has just wanted the best.

However, it looks like his connection to Lincoln Rhyme is going to lead to his death. In the promo for the season finale, there’s a shot of Sellitto tied to a chair a rope around his neck. It looks like he’s become one of the Bone Collector’s latest victims.
It makes sense. The Bone Collector likes to be as personal as possible. Before, he’s had to keep his distance. Being personal has involved proving that he knows where Lincoln lives and that he has a family. Now that everyone knows who the Bone Collector is and his face is going to be all over the news, the Bone Collector is no longer really hiding.
None of the team is safe. Sellitto looks to be the main victim, which makes the most sense. Sellitto was Lincoln’s partner the first time they were after the Bone Collector.
But could the team get to Sellitto in time? We know that the Bone Collector is just going to keep taking people and killing them. He’s making that clear in the promo. He’s not going to make it easy to find Sellitto, but part of the game involves finding the victims. So, there is a chance that Lincoln and Amelia will figure out things before it gets too late and gets their friend back.
This is the finale, though. While we don’t yet know if there’s going to be a second season, something big usually goes down in the first finale to catapult the storylines into the second season. There is the chance that we’ll have to say goodbye to Sellitto in the Lincoln Rhyme Season 1 finale.
