We’re at the Lincoln Rhyme Season 1 finale. All episodes have been leading us to this point, to the moment Lincoln would face the Bone Collector again. This time, Lincoln knows who the Bone Collector is and is facing the man for very different reasons compared to the time of his accident. Here’s what to expect in the finale based on the synopsis.
It’s a two-hour finale, which means there are actually two episodes to check out. There are clues in the promo that not everyone will make it out alive, but the synopses don’t really go into them. Instead, they give us something bigger to worry about.

In the synopsis for Lincoln Rhyme Season 1, Episode 9, we learn that it’s not just the team that knows who the Bone Collector is. Lincoln makes sure his name and face are all over the news, so everyone is ready for him. That means the Bone Collector needs to up his game.
He’s going to do that by continually killing people. He won’t stop at three deaths at a time. On top of that, the victims won’t be at random. They’re going to be those closest to Lincoln, which includes Amelia.
Here’s the synopsis for Episode 9:
"The Bone Collector’s name and face are all over the news; staying one step ahead of the team, the Bone Collector puts his ultimate revenge plan into action by targeting those closest to Lincoln, including Amelia."
It’s not just Amelia who is in grave danger. In the last episode of Lincoln Rhyme Season 1, Lincoln learns that his son is in danger. We’ve known that this was a possibility since the beginning of the series. Lincoln said his ex-wife took their son away for safety. It was only a matter of time before the threat became real.
But to protect his son, Lincoln decides to do the one thing that everyone will warn him against. He needs to face the Bone Collector head-on.
