Could Andrew have framed Laura for murder on Liar Season 2?

There are certainly a few theories floating around for Liar Season 2. There was a chance Carl was the murderer, but Episode 3 has ruled that now. All fingers are now pointing back to Andrew framing Laura for his murder.

Caution: We’re getting into spoilers from Liar Season 2, Episode 3, which dropped on Sundance Now today.

Carl was sure that he was guilty. In fact, he’d tried to kill Andrew and thought he was the one to carry it out completely. He’d tied Andrew’s arms behind his back and threw him in the water. Andrew should have drowned.

The cockroach managed to survive thanks to the stolen scalpel from the hospital. He used it to cut the binds and swim to safety. There, he was able to find Laura and leave a threat that has me sure that Andrew has planted everything.

Andrew made it clear that he blames Laura for everything. Of course, the man cannot take the blame himself despite him being the one to do all the crimes. He just has to blame the woman who has exposed him for who he really is. So, he wants to ruin Laura’s life, and that’s exactly what he’s doing from beyond the grave.

Did Andrew kill himself on Liar Season 2?

We’re still three weeks before Andrew’s body was found. There’s still time for us to find out that someone else may have been guilty, but right now, it looks like there is a lot of planting of evidence.

It all comes back to that key. How did it end up in Laura’s drawer with Andrew’s blood on it? Katy has it three weeks in the past, but that doesn’t mean Andrew couldn’t have got it back and then planted it in Laura’s drawer.

Now, Laura’s car has a dead battery and her Sat Nav has taken the police to some shipping container. It’s clear there’s something damning against her, but did Laura really have something to do with it? Could this have been Andrew’s doing to ruin Laura’s life?

But would he have meant to kill himself? Maybe if he thought his life was over anyway. We know his son tried to kill himself and may have succeeded. That may be what threw Andrew over the edge, especially knowing that he would never escape the cops.  I keep going back to the detective asking if Andrew could have slit his own throat and the coroner confirming that.

Alternatively, he may never have intended to kill himself but disappear under the pretense that he was dead. Someone else may have got to him in the end.

Either way, this evidence against Laura certainly seems planted. Andrew would certainly know how to ruin her life.
