Agatha Christie’s Marple is one of the TV crime dramas to watch this week

We’re hoping the drought of new TV crime dramas on broadcast networks will come to an end soon. While we wait, we have streaming services to help us through.

It’s not always easy to find the best dramas to watch. And it’s not always easy to find your way around the various streaming services. Aren’t there just so many now? Gone are the days where it was either Netflix or Amazon Prime! That’s why we want to make it as easy as possible for you to find the best shows going.

There are some exciting additions this week on various streaming services. Here are five TV crime dramas you need to watch from Aug. 24 to 28.

A Difficult Woman

The first is one of the TV crime dramas that drops today. A Difficult Woman is now available to stream on Acorn TV.

More from TV Crime Dramas

It tells the tale of a woman who has a comfortable life with plenty of prospects in the future. All that changes when she decides to tackle the case of her best friend’s murder. She will stop at nothing to bring the killer to justice.

The problem is that a lot of people want to keep the details a secret. Anne could put her own life at risk, not just her career and future.

Agatha Christie’s Marple

BritBox has your back if you’re looking for multiple seasons of a series to binge-watch. Agatha Christie’s Marple is available on Aug. 25. All five seasons will make their way to the streaming service.

The series is loosely based on the beloved novels. We follow the female sleuth as she brings people to justice and discovers the clues in the cases that everyone else has overlooked. This is also a chance to see some well-known actors in roles you’ve forgotten about.

All five seasons will be available on Aug. 25.

The Suspect

A new episode of The Suspect airs on Aug. 25 on Sundance Now. You can already watch the first episode right now.

The series tells the story of a true crime in Canada. Richard Oland was brutally murdered, with his son Dennis as the prime suspect in the case. The question is whether the evidence points to him. Can his defense team break down the evidence and clear him of the charges?

Canada’s case turned into a real-life soap opera. The final two episodes will air in September 2020.

World’s Most Wanted

You’ll want to turn to Netflix for this next offering. It arrived earlier this month but may have gone overlooked because of other big releases. The series profiles some of the most heinous criminals known around the world.

We’re taken on a journey for the search for them, the crimes they committed, and the steps they’ve taken to avoid capture. After all, despite the millions available as a reward to turn them in, they’ve remained on the run.

All episodes are now available on Netflix.

Disappeared in Appalachia

We’ll end with a show that’s on ID this week. Disappeared in Appalachia tells the story of a popular student who went missing one night. The only thing left behind was a note for his parents. Did he go missing and an accident happen or did something more suspicious happen?

Throughout the episode, we watch as the evidence unfolds through years of searching. What hidden secrets will come to light?

Disappeared in Appalachia airs on ID on Thursday at 9/8c.
