Will Jenny’s actions lead to a criminal let out on the street on Coroner?
Will Donovan have to work hard to get a criminal back in jail on Coroner?
While Jenny dealt with the body in her well, Donovan dealt with a case from the past on Coroner Season 1, Episode 5. Could he have to deal with putting the guy back behind bars?
Jenny’s actions certain led to phones ringing off the hook. While she certainly has the best intentions at heart, maybe she did go about reopening Dr. Peterson’s case files in the wrong way. But it’s done now, and there are cases that will crop up on the show.

One of them looks to be the case of Gerald Henry Jones. Donovan did not like hearing that name, and he spent Thanksgiving weekend with someone who has been doing some digging on Jones. The one crime that he is behind bars for may not be the only crime he committed, but this guy was smart and managed to hide most of his tracks. Oh, and the majority of people don’t seem to care about the murders of homeless people.
Could Jenny have accidentally put a serial killer back on the streets through her abrupt actions?

This isn’t the last we’ve seen of the Gerald Henry Jones case
Don’t expect Gerald Henry Jones never to be uttered again. This is clearly a case that comes up later in Coroner Season 1. It’s a big case for Donovan, and will likely show why he was so concerned about Jenny’s actions regarding the cases in the first place.
I get the sense the killer will be released during the sixth episode. The synopsis for Episode 7 (remember, this show has already aired in Canada so the synopses for all episodes are available) says that Donovan will search for a killer recently released.
This is going to sour some relationships even more. Donovan is already angry that Jenny’s actions will open up multiple cases, that guilty people will be released. However, this is the one that will hurt him the most. It’s not going to be easy to get the guy back behind bars.
Expect it to be something that leads us to a big season finale. It will also probably lead to Donovan and Jenny being forced to work together again, airing out their differences and opinions, while realizing that they both have strengths they need to rely on each other for.
