Are you ready for another dose of our favorite female duo in law enforcement? A new episode of LA’s Finest airs tonight, and here’s everything you need to know about it.
The new episode is titled “Con Air,” but the women aren’t getting on any planes with Nicholas Cage and John Malcovich. Instead, they’re dealing with a body that has literally fallen from the sky. They’ll need to figure out how this even happened before they can figure out if it’s murder or not. I mean, skydive gone very wrong?

The Bens are also getting a little extra focus during the episode. They’re looking into cars being dumped in remote places. Usually, that would just be annoying, but there’s a bigger conspiracy behind this. How is the person dumping the cars getting back to civilization?
It’s time for the women to trust each other
Up to this point, we’ve had a lot of focus on how Syd and McKenna aren’t quite on the same page. They don’t completely trust each other right now, and we can understand why. But if they want to put the past to bed, they need to start relying on each other.
There’s a turning point in this episode. Ghosts of the past show up, especially for McKenna. She’s going to need to lean on Syd to get through this.
One thing that I’ve enjoyed about the series is that our lead women aren’t always that likable. There are moments where they’re utterly flawed and deceptive. We want to get through some of the rough patches because there is good there, but they’re becoming relatable women in the process. It’s a strong point of the series and it’s no wonder that LA’s Finest Season 2 was ordered and is on Spectrum now.
