How were Noor and Kelly connected on the Coroner Season 2 finale?

The Coroner Season 2 finale delivered with all the answers to the burning questions we have, including how Noor and Kelly are connected. It’s time to break down the finale to explain the ending.

The episode started with Jenny finding out more about Kelly’s deception, but by this point, the level of deception didn’t matter. She needed to find out what Kelly wanted and bring her in. Donovan needed to know how Noor was connected to all this.

It all goes back to the premiere episode. Noor and Kelly lived in the same apartment building. We knew that already, but we didn’t know they were neighbors. When Noor’s baby (that’s who was buried in the community garden) died in his sleep, Noor panicked.

Kelly found Noor outside and suggested that Kelly pretend the baby was hers for the insurance money, telling Noor the police would arrest her for the death of her baby. This would allow Kelly to get away and Noor to escape.

Maybe it would have worked out had Kelly been able to get away. Of course, she needed to prove that she was her child’s mother, and that wasn’t the case. That would explain the fight in the car. The police were onto Kelly’s deception, and it would eventually get to Noor.

At the end of the Coroner Season 2 finale, Jenny does learn that Noor didn’t kill her son at all, not even with the CPR she performed that broke his ribs. The virus her son had killed him. It’s bittersweet, but it’s something to stop Noor blaming herself. Donovan also manages to get Noor’s husband into the country.

Kelly starts a crowdfuning campaign on the Coroner Season 2 finale

To get the money, Kelly decides to start a crowdfunding campaign. It’s hard to understand what she’s doing here. Is she so far down the rabbit hole that she believes her son was the one buried in the community garden?

However, things take a turn for the worse. While Jenny is home alone, Kelly shows up. She’d already been in the house and made sure Jenny took her pills, only to have replaced them with ketamine to knock Jenny out and sets a fire.

Kelly shares that her parents were murdered when she was a child. All she’s ever wanted is a family, and Jenny doesn’t even appreciate her own family.

It looks like that’s it for Jenny.

Well, it would be if she didn’t want to live. She hears the voice of her late sister and drags herself outside.

It’s enough to get Kelly arrested, but Jenny and Donovan don’t get justice for all her victims. They need to get to work.

In the end, Kelly is arrested alive. There’s a chance for justice.

Liam and Jenny bring their relationship to an end?

During the episode, Liam’s PTSD got the better of him. While Ross helped a little, it was time for Jenny and Liam to talk. They love each other and they want to fight for their relationship, but things aren’t working right now. They both need help for their respective mental illnesses, so they decide they’re better off apart than together.

Is there hope for the two to get back together once they’ve worked on themselves? We’ll have to wait for Coroner Season 3 to find out.

The ending to the Coroner Season 2 finale does give us a little hope. After seeing her dad and son off on a road trip, Jenny has a therapy session. She’s stopped sleepwalking and she’s still talking about her feelings and emotions. Talking isn’t weakness.
