The synopsis for Found season 2, episode 20 certainly has me intrigued as there is a lot going on. There’s just one part of it that has me a little confused.
Caution: There are some SPOILERS for Found season 2, episode 19 in this post.
The synopsis tells us about the cases that the M&A Team will need to deal with. And yes, it’s cases in this episode. Margaret will find a flyer about a missing woman with Down’s Syndrome, while the team is dealing with someone targeting their former clients. Then there’s a bit about Sir negotiating his release.
However, it’s the last part of the synopsis that has me wondering if I’m assuming something. It tells us that Dhan will make “headway in determining Jamie’s identity.”

Didn’t we get confirmation of Jamie’s identity in Found season 2, episode 19?
I could have sworn that the last two episodes told us who Jamie is. In episode 17, Dhan said that he didn’t need a DNA test to know that Jamie is Jamie. The way Jamie rushed in to save Margaret when Margaret was being held hostage made it clear to Dhan that Jamie was Margaret’s son.
Then in episode 18, Margaret figured out who took her son. Sure enough, Kerry took Jamie. Or at least, she took this boy that we believe is Jamie. Throughout episode 19, Jamie was thinking about his past, and in the end, he chose Margaret.
So, isn’t that confirmation that Jamie is who he says he is? I actually think it’s refreshing that this is the storyline, especially as we get a look at how Stockholm Syndrome can actually work.
What will Dhan find out about Jamie in Found season 2, episode 20?
We know that Dhan took a DNA sample for Jamie. Is it possible that we’ll find out that this boy isn’t Jamie at all? Is he another boy that Kerry took, who she wanted to believe was Jamie? Did she manage to make him believe that he was Jamie?
To be honest, that sort of storyline seems crazy. It’s much crazier than someone maliciously pretending to be Jamie. If someone was maliciously pretending, they wouldn’t have rushed to save Margaret and we wouldn’t have had those flashbacks in episode 19.
In a way, I hope that the headway is that others find out that Jamie is back. This could be a chance for Taylor, Margaret’s other daughter, and Margaret’s ex-husband to find out that Jamie is back.
