How to watch the SWAT Season 7 finale live online
The SWAT Season 7 finale is going to be an explosive one. You will not want to miss a beat, and you don’t have to with these streaming details.
Titled “Twenty Squad,” this episode was initially set as the SWAT series finale. After an initial U-turn last year, CBS ordered a 13-episode final season. And then there was another U-turn, with Season 8 confirmed just a few months ago.
It sounds like while the series finale was written as that, it also works as a season finale. However, we’re still salty about the writing decision for Luca and Street as it means they’re missing from the next season—and Luca really is the best character on the entire series!

What to expect in the SWAT Season 7 premiere
This episode will be an explosive one. Hondo gets into a vibe for The Fast and the Furious, as he rides on top of a truck and plants a bomb. We see Tan grabbing his hand to pull him back into a chopper that is above it and then the truck exploding. We’re not expecting Hondo to die. He’s sure to be on the chopper before that explosion considering the chopper doesn’t seem to be in the vicinity of the truck.
The case involves a violent cell of extremists. These extremists want to blow up half of LA, and that’s going to kill thousands. Of course, Hondo and the team will do everything they can to keep the people safe, even if it means putting their own lives on the line.
Hondo has some personal things to deal with, though. In recent episodes, his own community has directed their anger toward him for his decision to be part of the police force. It’s making Hondo question everything about his leadership of his team. Does he still have what it takes?
Check out the promo and synopsis for the SWAT Season 7 finale:
"SWAT faces their deadliest adversary yet when a violent cell of extremists looks to extract vengeance by blowing up half of Los Angeles, potentially killing thousands. Still reeling from the anger and outrage directed at him by his own community, Hondo questions if he still has what it takes to lead 20-Squad, adding to the fear that he won’t be able to pull the team together in time to save the city."
