After the unsurprising end to the previous episode, we’re back with an all-new episode of Lincoln Rhyme. Here’s a look at the Episode 8 synopsis.

We’ll get the bad out of the way from the previous episode. Lincoln Rhyme Episode 7 ended with a twist that we all saw coming. We knew the Bone Collector’s wife wasn’t going to make it out alive. And it really is a downward spirial for the Bone Collector from here, which the synopsis for Lincoln Rhyme Season 1, Episode 8 makes clear.

While the episode is another case of the week for the team to solve, there’s a connection to the main storyline. That connection was hinted at in the previous episode.

In case you missed it, the team theorized who the Bone Collector could be getting insider information from. Of course, there was the thought that maybe there’s a leak somewhere in the police department, but then they realized that it’s possible the Bone Collector is a detective. That would explain the personal connection to Lincoln, right?

Well, the team will find out the identity of the Bone Collector during the Mar. 6 episode. The synopsis tells us that.

That’s assuming that the synopsis is fully telling the truth. Why would a synopsis give such a huge plot point away? Could it be a red herring? The team could think the identity is revealed only to find out by the end that the reveal was wrong.

However, with just three episodes left of the season, I doubt this is going to be the case. That is unless the writers were hoping for a second season and made a huge risk not seeing Lincoln take down the Bone Collector by the end of the first season. The title is “Hunt for” and not “Capturing the” Bone Collector.

Regardless of whether it’s a red herring or not, the synopsis makes it clear that the Bone Collector’s identity is revealed to the team. Here’s a look for yourself.

"When a politician’s teenage daughter is kidnapped for ransom, Lincoln, Amelia and the team race against time to rescue her before the unthinkable happens; the team makes a startling discovery: the Bone Collector’s true identity."

Next. Will Lincoln Rhyme be renewed for a second season?. dark
