After being held in an ICE detention center, Tali experienced the horrors on FBI: Most Wanted. The aftermath gives us hope for the future.

When Tali was held in the ICE detention center on FBI: Most Wanted, she experienced the horrors people go through. Rather than just try to forget it all, she is taking action and it gives us hope for the future.

During FBI: Most Wanted Episode 10, Tali showed her dad and grandmother a video she’d made and put on social media. It was an attempt to raise awareness about the conditions in ICE detention centers. After all, this is something she witnessed herself and something that shocked her to the core. It also shocked her father, who even works with the FBI so has seen some awful circumstances.

Most children would try to forget everything they saw. They’d attempt to pretend that their memories were false and that everyone was heading off to a better life.

In some cases, children would have a lot of questions for their parents or grandparents. They’d want comfort and a discussion about the situation. After that, they could end up going off on their merry way because it doesn’t affect them.

Yet, Tali makes it clear that we all have a duty to be better. She gives us hope for the future that empathy is still alive. Instead of forgetting, Tali is on a mission to help bring change to the system. It’s an upward battle since it’s not easy to change government systems, but that doesn’t mean Tali is going to give up.

On top of that, Tali is going to face some negativity online. Jess noticed that some comments told Tali to “go back to where [she] came from.” These ignorant comments make it clear that prejudice isn’t going anywhere. It makes the battle to see change much harder.

However, Tali doesn’t seem like she’s going to give up. It doesn’t look like the negative comments and trolls are the ones she’s going to pay attention to. She knows there are people out there who support her, and so, she’s going to focus on them. This is the way we should all look at the world online. Avoid the trolls and negativity that are there just to put people down and focus on the support and positivity.

There are a lot of things that we can learn from Tali on FBI: Most Wanted. She offers hope for the future, especially with a dad, uncle, and grandparents like the ones she has.
